The editors and publishers of the International Journal of Nanomedicine wish to withdraw published articles. People have raised concerns about the alleged copying and manipulation of images in Figures 8 and 9. Specifically:

The author responded to our inquiry and provided raw data related to the images shown in Figure 8 and Figure 9, but the data provided were not satisfactory. The editor considered the results of the study invalid and requested that the article be withdrawn.

Our decision is based on our policy on publication ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on withdrawal.

The retracted articles will remain online to maintain academic records, but will be marked as "retracted" with a digital watermark on each page.
